Tootsietoy 1956 CJ5 Jeep - Windshield Down

This is the 1956 Jeep CJ5, with the windshield cast down, from Tootsietoy. This is a unique color for this Jeep, as the majority of these were Blue or Red. It is not often we get a teal version in stock! This 50 year old casting was produced only in 1961, and they have become harder and harder to find………..particularly in this color.

This truck retains 90+% of its original paint, and has some playwear. We have priced this well below the book value of a Mint version to reflect the playwear. So if you collect Tootsietoy, Vintage Diecast, Mack Trucks, or To Trucks this is a great find for your collection, you simply will not find a better original example for this price!

Collectors Note: While it may be tempting to buy this and restore, or repaint it, our recommendation would be to leave this unrestored due to the color.There are just not many examples of this color left.
