This is a beautiful find from TootsieToy’s 4” series. It is the 1947 Chevrolet “Fastback Coupe”. This was TootsieToys version of the Chevy Fleetline. This was produced by TootsieToys from 1947-1949.
Note that there are two versions of this casting, with or without the fender trim lines. This is does have just a bit of playwear in the form of some paint ships. It is priced to reflect that, but is still a very nice example of a car that is hard to find due to it’s limited 3 year run. This has 90+% of it’s paint, and all 4 wheels roll nicely.
It is a great cross-collectible, so if you collect TootsieToys, Vintage Diecast, Chevrolet this is a great find for your collection!
