Tootsietoy Post War Box Truck (1947)

This is the rare Post War 1947 Box Truck from TootsieToy. This is from the TootsieToy 3” series. It was released in 1947, and was only produced from 1947-1948. This is a very short run for a Tootsietoy casting, when you combine that with the popularity of any toy after WWII with the kids who didn’t have any new toys for 4 years, these have become very hard to find in presentable condition.

This has some playwear, but it is in very presentable condition and it rolls nicely. It is a great cross-collectible, so if you collect TootsieToys, Vintage Diecast, or Ford this 60+ year old Box Tuck is a wonderful find for your collection! This has been priced to reflect the condition; you simply will not find a nicer example for this price, particularly in this color, if you could find one at all!
