Tootsietoy 1949 Ford F6 Truck (with both silver bed and closed fenderwells!)

This is the 1949 Ford F6 Truck from TootsieToy. This is from the TootsieToy 4” series. It was released in 1950, and was produced from 1950-1969.

This one is quite unique. This casting came first with closed fenderwells, and then later open well. It also came with ether a body colored bed, or a silver painted bed that matched the grille. This one has both the older closed wells, AND the silver bed……..making it a very hard variation to find, particularly in red. It does have some playwear, yet it retains 90+% of its original paint and it rolls nicely. It is a great cross-collectible, so if you collect TootsieToys, Vintage Diecast, or Ford Trucks this 50+ year old Ford Truck is a wonderful find for your collection! This has been priced to reflect the playwear; you simply will not find a better unrestored example for this price, particularly in this color, if you could find one at all!
