TootsieToy 1938 Buick Roadster

This is a beautiful find from TootsieToy's 4" series. It is the 1938 Buick Roadster. This was produced by TootsieToys from 1947-1949. That is a very short run for a TootsieToy casting. When you combine the short run with the desirability of a late 30's Buick Roadster, it is easy to see why this is one of TootsieToys most sought after cars!
This is does have playwear and still retains 70+% of it's paint, and all 4 wheels roll nicely. It does have some yellow paint in a couple of spots. It is priced well below the book value of a Mint version, if you could even find one. It is a presentable example of this beautifully crafted casting.  
It is a great cross-collectible, so if you collect TootsieToys, Vintage Diecast, Buick, or Ragtops this is a great find for your collection!
