This is a beautiful find from TootsieToy’s 3” series. It is the 1949 Ford F-1 Pickup Truck (Type 2). The Type 2 version did not have the axles sticking out of the sides of the wheel wells. This was produced by TootsieToys from 1949-1960.

This is does have playwear yet still retains 80+% of it’s paint, and all 4 wheels roll nicely It is priced well below the book value of a Mint version, if you could even find one in this color. It is a very presentable example of this beautifully crafted casting.

It is a great cross-collectible, so if you collect TootsieToys, Vintage Diecast, or Ford Trucks this is a great find for your collection!
